AGM 12V 210Ah Deep Cycle Battery

This sealed battery is an ideal option for off-grid photovoltaic or storage systems. With a capacity of 210Ah and 12 Volts, these batteries are part of the AGM cyclic family, also known as “deep cycle” batteries. This type of battery features reinforced plates and uses 95.2% pure lead, fused without welding, making it highly resistant to corrosion and mechanical and thermal stress.

This type of battery is often used in sectors such as telecommunications, UPS, RV and boat services, and small photovoltaic systems for small to medium loads and sporadic, but not continuous use.

The evaluation of life cycles is a fundamental aspect in determining the duration of off-grid solar photovoltaic systems and storage. With “Battery Prime” batteries, it is possible to have a useful life of up to 18 years, but it is important to analyze the discharge curve to predict the maximum duration of the battery pack.

Life cycles vary depending on the DOD (Depth of Discharge), which is the percentage of energy discharged from the battery relative to its total capacity. For example, with a 100% DOD, the battery can have a life of 300 cycles (less than a year), while with an 80% DOD, the useful life is about 400 cycles (about 1.09 years).

With a 50% DOD, the useful life of the batteries is about 700 cycles (about 2 years), while with a 30% DOD, the duration can reach up to 1700 cycles (about 4.65 years). Finally, with a 20% DOD, the useful life of the batteries can reach up to 2400 cycles (about 6.6 years).
