The Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12V Isolated DC-DC Battery Charger is a DC-DC Battery Charger or Power Supply (it is also designed for use as a constant voltage source), offering a wide range of output voltages.

Bluetooth Smart enabled
You can use any smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device to monitor, change settings, or update the charger when new features become available.
The VictronConnect App can display the most important data, including alerts and alarms, on the Device List page without having to connect to the product.

Fully programmable
Battery charging algorithm (configurable) or fixed output.
Compatible with smart alternator: engine running detection mechanism.

Adaptive 3-stage charging algorithm: bulk – absorption – float
For lead-acid batteries, it is important that during shallow discharges the absorption time is short to prevent overcharging of the battery. After a deep discharge, the absorption time is automatically increased to fully charge the battery.
For lithium batteries, the absorption time is fixed: 2 hours by default.

Suitable for use in vehicles with smart alternator (Euro 5 and Euro 6 engines)
The integrated engine shutdown detection stops the converter when the engine is not running. This prevents undesired discharge of the starter battery (see manual for details).

Remote on/off
A remote on/off switch or relay contact can be connected to a two-pole connector.

All models are short circuit proof and can be paralleled to increase output current
An unlimited number of units can be connected in parallel.

Protected against high temperature
The output current will decrease as the ambient temperature increases.

IP43 protection
The Victron Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Isolated 12V Battery Charger has IP43 protection when installed with the screw terminals oriented downwards.
